A quotation from the Lambeth Conference in 1988, states that:

 

"The Mission of the church is:

 - To proclaim the good news of the kingdom

 - To teach, baptise and nurture new believers

 - To respond to human need by loving service

 - To seek to transform unjust structures of society"

 

The Mission of God for this diocese is to be growth in Christ encouraging people to know, love and follow Jesus and to grow as his disciples in worship and witness to the truth of the Gospel.

 

Our parish Mission Action Plan is currently under review and will reflect this vision.
