Knit and Natter Poppies

The ladies of Knit and natter were thrilled when Celia B came along one afternoon and asked if they would knit purple poppies to remember the animals killed during the wars. Once their creative juices started to flow, it wasn't long before an idea came to life. There was much discussion on what colour was purple, rather than mauve, lilac, periwinkle, orchid ... so we settled on a mixture, which has turned out very well.  

Knit and natter meets on Tuesday afternoons. Anyone is welcome; to knit, natter or craft in any way that you that you are working on. A hot drink and sweet treat is enjoyed during the afternoon.
