Wedding at St Peter's

Wedding at St Peter’s Friday 21st Heralded a rare but wonderful occasion. Caroline and Roger were married by special licence at St Peter’s church. What a special occasion that was for them and it was made all the more special with the sun shining, the choir in good voice, leading the hymns and the flower ladies having made the church look stunning with their wonderful floral creations.

Barn Dance Extravaganza

What a happy time was had at the barn dance. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, sometimes crying with laughter! I am not sure what the German visitors from Schnei thought of it all at first, but they soon got up on their feet and joined in heartily. Even the 2 teenagers who told me that there was no way they were going to dance! There was more hilarity when trying to translate ‘strip the willow’! But in the end no translation was needed, just a bit of pushing and pulling!! And if it wasn’t all correct, well who cares. Baptism at St Peter's

'On the 9th December 2018, Frederick David Gordon Pope was baptised at St Peters Church, High Salvington. Reverend Beverley Miles gave a beautiful service themed around the Christmas story. Frederick was joined by his parents David and Kyrie Pope, his family and friends, who all felt welcomed by the church and delighted with the baptism.'

May Camp reveiw

Force, force, force, force field around me, Your love, is a force field around me. If you have never heard this song by Bright City, then have a listen and you can transport yourself (in your head) to May Camp. God was truly a force field around all of us and the other 500 or so that we joined at Plumpton in May, all worshipping God in all sorts of ways. It all started on the Friday evening when we had an eventful journey, the children arriving before their belongings. So they were very relieved to see Karen’s car arriving.
